KORPIKLAANI News.

The Forest Clan released a few tidbits of info regarding their upcoming 8th studio album today.  It's going to be called "Manala" (the Underworld, as mentioned in the Kalevala) and will be dropping via Nuclear Blast on August 3rd.

Most interesting to me is that it will be a double disc; the "bonus" CD being the entire album with lyrics in English.  I'm hoping this will stir up some realization among the deep, deep pool of European metal bands that there is a huge market for their music overseas...

I've already posted the new song they've released so in order to avoid repeating the same repeated stuff over and over again repeatedly, I'm going to drop another track on your faces.

Korpiklaani - "Hunting Song"

This is actually a personal favourite of mine.  Enjoy, and eat some red meat.

Knight Rider.

Just wanted to give mad props to the lovely and talented Sharon Knight, folk songstress and goth rocker extraordinaire, for helping me out with a couple things and showing this site some love on her FB page.  Here's a Bandcamp link to one of my favourite songs from her co-project "Pandemonaeon".  Her voice is cool.

This Night I Ride

And here's a video of her "Song of the Sea".

Sharon Knight - "Song of the Sea"

I know that's probably more folky than you were expecting to hear but I give props where they are due.  Plus she likes Moonsorrow and is therefore an awesome human being.  So sayeth I, so mote it be.

*Edit - I just noticed that the title of this post is an unintentional innuendo.  UNINTENTIONAL. Sorry 'bout that.
